Pavilion and Boat House on bank of east lake

Pavilion and boat house. c1843-47. Ashlar walls, secondary hipped pantile roof (2005). Segmentally-arched entrance to boat house at lake level, with piers and walls to steps at each side, then square in plan pavilion originally intended as band stand above. 3 segmentally-arched openings in each face divided by pilasters. (The Buildings of England: Nikolaus Pevsner and Edward Hubbard: Cheshire: Harmondsworth: 1971-).
