Ninety-six sheets of drawings of the castle and battery. The earliest original drawings date from the 1960s, though there are several copies of earlier sheets from the eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Other sheets include a group of survey drawings from 1962, and drawings relating to reconstruction of the gatehouse roof from 1969. From 1971 and 1972 are a series of drawings of the custodian's flat on the first-floor of the gatehouse.
Several photogrammetric survey drawings date from 1980, and there are a number of related plans and sections from 1981 and 1982. From 1984 and 1985 are drawings relating to new drainage, septic tank and soakaway system, and from 1987 and 1988 is a set of proposed and as installed electrical service drawings.
The most recent drawings date from 1988 and include rectified photography of the stone apron surrounding the moat, a block plan and several computer-aided plans.
