RCHME photographer Tony Perry recorded buildings and sites related to the textile industry in East Cheshire during 1989-1992. This work was done in collaboration with the East Cheshire Textile Mills Survey (1983) established by Anthony Calladine and Jean Fricker and coincided with RCHME surveys of mills in Yorkshire and Greater Manchester. The project culminated in the publication East Cheshire Textile Mills (1993).
The collection also contains sixty publication drawings and associated RCHME drawings.
