A series of 574 items, predominantly photographic prints, showing various sites across Somerset. Locations depicted in the series include: Wells Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace, Glastonbury Abbey, Montacute House, Cleeve Abbey, Brympton House, North Cadbury Court, Farleigh Hungerford Castle and a number of parish churches.
There are also two prints which are mounted on the reverse of images of Somerset and which depict sites outside the county. These sites are Battle Abbey in Sussex and Raglan Castle in Monmouthshire.
The formats include albumen prints, collotype prints, gelatine prints, platinum prints and photographic postcards.
