Description

An envelope containing 38 black and white photographs taken for the Department of the Environment in October 1980, showing interior views of the castle plus exterior views showing the castle roof and interior and exterior views of the surrounding outbuildings. All are shown in a derelict state around the time the site was taken into guardianship.

None of the prints has been catalogued to individual item level.

On the reverse of each print is a Department of the Environment stamp carrying the negative number (A10416/1-38) and date of photography.
