Description

The first Livery Hall of the Girdler's Company, dating to the mid 15th century, was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666, and a replacement Hall was built in 1681. This second hall, the building here pictured, was destroyed by enemy action in 1940. The photograph was taken for Bedford Lemere and Company.
