A NOW gallery photographic exhibition in partnership with Historic England.

Wednesday 10 October - Sunday 11 November 2018
Human Stories: Another England is a photographic exhibition surveying historical and contemporary narratives in Black and Asian Heritage in England, from 10 October until 11 November, at the NOW Gallery on Greenwich Peninsula, London.
As the third iteration of Human Stories, the exhibition will present photographs and research generated by Historic England’s Another England: Mapping 100 Years of Black and Asian History.
About the exhibition
Visitors are invited to delve into the origins of migration, religion, home and working life, as well as unpicking embedded racism through archive imagery. Rare and little-before-seen photography have been made available exclusively to NOW Gallery for a unique month of exhibition.
In addition, newly commissioned works interrogate concepts of multiculturalism, intersectionality and a sense of place through the lens of emerging, contemporary photographers and arts collectives.
